Most catalytic cracking flue gas desulfurization processes use the sodium-based desulfurization method. Some plants face issues with excessive ammonia nitrogen levels in their saline wastewater – are there any data on this? Does it occur only in the oxygen-deficient regeneration units?
If it is not a device for oxygen-deficient regeneration, ammonia nitrogen levels will exceed the allowed limits; whether this occurs depends on the operating conditions of the incinerator. If the incinerator remains in an oxygen-deficient state, ammonia nitrogen levels will exceed the specified limits. Furthermore, if there is an SCR denitration section, excessive ammonia injection can also lead to excessive ammonia nitrogen levels
Whether the levels exceed the limits depends on the type of regenerator you use, as well as on the amount of nitrogen in your raw materials. Of course, it also depends on whether you have denitration measures in place, including denitration additives, SCR catalysts, and so on

Nitrogen oxides in the flue gas from oxygen-enriched regeneration tend to exceed the allowable levels, and the same is true for the wastewater discharged
