There is one more thing I’m not quite clear about: is it allowed to use the inner tube positioning plates as a support for the inner tube in order to meet the requirements regarding the span of the inner tube? For example, in the case of DN40 pipes where the span is less than 5 meters, my jacketed tubes are still designed with spans of 6 meters each; this means that some of the positioning plates will come into contact with the inner wall of the tube; Alternatively, the length of each section of the jacketing tube is determined by the span of the inner tube; the cross-flanges at the joints between the short sections serve as supports for the adjacent tubes, providing effective support for the inner tube. By taking into account the requirements regarding the span of the jacketing tube, the supports can be arranged appropriately to ensure support for both the inner tube and the jacketing tube.
