For a 24-core cable with no markings at either end, how can the wires be identified as quickly as possible?
First, identify and mark the wires of distinct colors. Then connect one of the marked wires to any of the remaining wires, and use a multimeter to measure the resistance between this marked wire and the other wires; mark the wire with which it is connected. Repeat this process to identify the remaining wires. There are no wires with independent colors; an additional wire can be added externally for tracing.

If each core has the same color, then it’s necessary to check the continuity one by one.

Ground one end of any wire, and then measure the other end against ground one by one.
Cables are either colored differently or have numbers assigned to their conductors. It would be very inconvenient if neither of them were available. Really, in that case, one can only follow the methods suggested by those above. Another key point is that there must be enough operating space; it’s very difficult to perform these operations in a confined area. Therefore, it is essential to label the wire cores before installation.
