II. Features of the dimethyl ether catalyst
High conversion rate: The main component of catalysts used for the gas-phase dehydration of methanol to produce dimethyl ether, both domestically and internationally, is γ-Al2O3. However, the TCM-3 dimethyl ether catalyst produced by our company uses γ-Al2O3 and SiO2 as carriers, with the addition of special catalysts and additives, which results in a higher one-pass conversion rate of methanol. High selectivity: Through our company’s continuous research and optimization over the years, the selectivity of the TCM-3 dimethyl ether catalyst reaches as high as 99.8%. The catalyst has wide operating conditions. The TCM-3 dimethyl ether catalyst utilizes an advanced molding process, offering greater compressive strength, uniform particle size, low bed resistance, and a wide range of operating temperatures; it also possesses higher heat resistance and better resistance to carbon absorption compared to ordinary dimethyl ether catalysts. III. Packaging, Storage, and Transportation of Dimethyl Ether Catalysts 1. This product is packaged in eco-friendly cardboard drums, lined with moisture-proof sealed plastic bags, at a weight of 30 Kg per drum ; 2. The packaging is marked with obvious identifiers such as the name, model specifications, weight, and manufacturer’s name; a product quality certificate is included inside the packaging container ; 3. During storage, it must not come into contact with acids, alkalis, or corrosive liquids; care should be taken to prevent moisture and water damage, and it should be stored in a cool, dry place indoors ; 4. During transportation, collisions, drops, and rolling handling are strictly prohibited. IV. After-sales Service 1. The company provides technical documents such as the catalyst usage instructions, loading procedures, heating and reduction protocols, operating conditions, and precautions ; 2. During catalyst loading and commissioning, the company dispatches experienced expert-level technical service personnel to the site to provide technical support and training services ; 3. In the event of technical issues related to catalyst usage during operation, the company’s technical staff will arrive at the site within 48 hours of receiving notification to assist in resolving them. The TCM-1 dimethyl ether catalyst is a solid acid catalyst used for the gas-phase synthesis of dimethyl ether from methanol. Service life of the TCM-3 dimethyl ether catalyst: Under normal operating conditions, the catalyst can be used for three to five years or more. If improper operation leads to a decrease in catalyst activity, necessary measures can be taken depending on the situation. For example, if the loss of activity is caused by overheating, oxygen-containing gases can be introduced and used under certain conditions to restore the catalyst’s activity ; If the temperature exceeds the limit significantly or the catalyst becomes inactive for other reasons, it needs to be replaced.
