I just calculated that the amount of water carried in at the flue gas inlet is greater than that at the outlet; this is probably because the outlet temperature is low, so less water is carried away when it reaches saturation. But does that mean there’s no need to hydrate?

In wet flue gas desulfurization, the water content in the flue gas at the inlet of the desulfurization tower is higher than that in the flue gas at the outlet (the amount at the outlet corresponds to 50 degrees of saturated water vapor). It’s troublesome when there’s no need to add water. The wastewater needs to be discharged outside. . . Difficult to handle!
