Design temperature of pipelines and equipment

The pressure in the pipeline and the connected equipment is the same, at 150#. May I ask if the design temperatures can be different? What are the issues from a design or operational perspective in this case?
Sure, as long as it’s not lower than the highest temperature achievable by the process.
Regarding the design temperature, it is recommended that you refer to HG/T 20570
It can be different; the design temperature is primarily determined by considering the highest/lowest temperatures that the medium might reach. The higher/lower the design temperature, the greater its impact on the choice of material, which in turn affects the cost. In some cases, such as during venting operations, the pipelines connected to the equipment can reach very low temperatures.
