Where can I have a toxic gas detector (HCN) tested? We can have it inspected by Daqing Petrochemical Inspection Company.
Should we first ask the manufacturers of such instruments where there are third-party testing agencies that can conduct tests to provide proof?
I only know that in Xinjiang, it’s the Metrology Institute that can perform calibration, not testing.
The local municipal metrology bureau can carry out the calibration, right?
If the local metrology inspection agency is unable to conduct the inspection, go to the provincial metrology inspection agency; if that doesn’t work, ask them for a recommendation. Generally, conventional gases such as CO and hydrogen can be detected. But the special ones are not necessarily so. Last year, I sent the toxic benzene gas for testing; it was mailed to the Shaanxi Provincial Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau for inspection.
We all just replace the probe directly; it’s really hard to find one that has been calibrated!
