If the levels at both the top and bottom are above the normal range, it might be due to flooding; try reducing the reflux at the tower top and the amount of heating steam at the tower bottom.
It is likely that flooding has occurred; stabilize the vapor volume at the tower bottom and the reflux rate, appropriately reduce the feed amount, and maintain a constant pressure at the tower top.

We use heat transfer oil for heating, which ensures stability; in our tower, one of the feed streams is supplied intermittently, and when that feeding stops, things get chaotic.
There are two possibilities: one is flooding, and the other is that the tray has been blown over. When flooding occurs, the liquid level in the reactor bottom also becomes unstable.
