1. Before starting up, manually inspect the grinding wheel to check for any cracks, and ensure that the protective cover and all other components are in good condition. 2. After starting the grinding wheel, observe its movement to ensure that it is rotating in the correct direction, so that the material being ground is thrown away away from the grinding wheel. Wait until the rotation speed is normal before proceeding with grinding. 3. Gloves are not allowed during operation; two people are not permitted to use the same grinding wheel at the same time, and stacking materials around it is strictly prohibited. 4. It is not allowed to grind large or long objects on a grinder, to prevent the grinding wheel from breaking apart and injuring people. 5. It is prohibited to grind the workpiece with one hand to prevent it from falling into the guard and damaging the grinding wheel. 6. When grinding the blade, the operator should stand to the side or at an angle to the grinding wheel, and not directly in front of it. 7. Avoid grinding on the side of the grinding wheel; do not apply excessive pressure to it, to prevent the tool from slipping and causing injury, or the grinding wheel from breaking due to severe impact. 8. When sharpening the blade, wear protective goggles. If sand gets into your eyes, do not rub them with your hands; instead, go to the medical room to have it removed. 9. The grinding surface of the grinding wheel must be regularly trimmed; when severe tool vibration is detected, it should be trimmed promptly using a diamond pen. 10. When replacing the grinding wheel, turn off the main power supply. It is not allowed to strike the grinding wheel with any object, and the nut washers at the shaft end should not be tightened too much to avoid cracking the grinding wheel. 11. After grinding is complete, turn off the power supply; regularly remove dust accumulated inside the protective cover, and periodically inspect and replace the lubricant for the spindle.
Two additional points: Desktop grinders should be regularly checked to ensure they are operating properly. Each desktop grinder should have its own switch and protection device. The casing of the desktop grinder must be grounded. Safety glasses should be worn when grinding, with a face shield being preferable. Before starting grinding, it is necessary to check whether there are any flammable materials or chemicals within the range where sparks may fly. After grinding, the work surface should be cleaned
