Circulating fluidized bed boilers are equipped with SNCR denitration systems; when the load is at a moderate level, the nitrogen oxide emission concentration is well below the specified standards. If your environmental impact assessment report mentions SNCR denitration facilities, then those facilities must be put into operation; otherwise, if it is discovered, the environmental protection authorities can impose penalties in accordance with the law. However, it is also possible to meet the requirements without operating those facilities, and in that case they can be shut down. The condition is that a formal application for shutdown, issued by the company itself, explaining the reasons for shutting them down, must be submitted to the local environmental protection authorities.
