The company needs to purchase welding materials; there are thousands of different brands available. But I’ve never been a welder, so I asked a welder for advice, only to find that he didn’t know anything either. What we need are the following welding materials, including: ordinary carbon steel, chromium-molybdenum steel, austenitic stainless steel, nickel-based alloy steel, and duplex steel. May I ask, how are the domestic manufacturers such as Tianjin Daqiao, Jinqiao, Hahan Suo, Daxie, Yuzhou, Tiantai, and Shinko? If there are any other good options, please recommend them. I hope experienced friends can talk about the advantages and disadvantages of these products. If manufacturers of welding materials reply to post ads, that’s fine too, but please don’t only praise your own products – also give an objective assessment of those from other companies. We won’t consider small brands.
We mainly use Xiangjiang brand welding rods from Zhuzhou, Hunan. Stability is key; there are many fake versions of so-called well-known brands, so one needs to be careful

Selection for ordinary welding materials: Tianjin Daqiao and Jinqiao, Atlantic, Tiantai. Selection for heat-resistant steel welding materials: Nippon Steel
We use only 2 manufacturers: Zhuzhou Xiangjiang and Tianjin Jinqiao
Xiangjiang welding rods are good; we use them a lot.
For carbon steel types: domestic brands such as Daqiao and Jinqiao are quite good. For stainless steel welding wires: the domestic brand Jingqun (Lei) is good, and Jinqiao is also a good option; there aren’t many other brands available, so I’m not making things up. For nickel-based materials, to be honest, there are no well-known domestic brands. For ordinary imported carbon steel products, brands like Olinco and Lincoln work fine. For stainless steel, ESAB is a good choice. As for nickel-based alloys, Berkel (this company has many brands that can be used), SMC, and Tykrooy are all viable options. Additionally, Manchester is not recommended due to unstable quality.
