I’ve been working on a PID diagram for power plant desulfurization recently; since I started working in the chemical industry halfway through, I’m not sure how to get started. The process diagram is already available. I’ve been looking at this PID diagram for a long time, but I still can’t grasp its essence. . Could someone who is an expert recommend one? It would be great if you could share with me any drawings related to flue gas desulfurization or similar, so we can discuss and learn from them. Thank you.

This post was last edited by ylb913 on 2015-12-16 07:01. The PID is the most detailed process and instrument control flow diagram. No pipeline, no valve, no instrument, and no control relationship should be deactivated.
Can you understand something that you yourself can’t comprehend, just by looking at how others understand it? You can design even without understanding it: L
If you can’t even understand your own, why would you need someone else’s drawings?
Are you a draftsman who wants to work on PID independently? This doesn’t make much sense; it should be the person in charge of the process who does it, or they should instruct you on how to draw it.
We can bring in the diagram and discuss it together.
The process PID is a bit simpler; you just need to describe your process flow and the control points, just like in a standard process diagram
