So far, there are several coal-to-natural gas projects that have been put into operation in China. **Is support for such projects not very strong?
The three that are already in operation are Datang Keqi, Xinjiang Qinghua, and Inner Mongolia HuiNeng. **For coal-to-gas, demonstration projects should remain the focus.
Thank you; it seems these are the only ones I could find. Many thanks
We have launched several projects for producing LNG from coke oven gas here
It can be listed for everyone’s learning* reference.
Could I ask what the points for these projects are?
Could I ask what the points for these projects are? DCS points
Coal-to-gas projects that are currently in operation include Guanghui in Xinjiang, Qinghua in Xinjiang, Zhongmei Tuket, Datang Keqi, Datang Fuxin, Henan Energy Yima Coal-to-Gas, and Hui Neng in Inner Mongolia. In addition, Xintian in Ili is about to start operations; the status of other projects is unknown. I hope someone with more information can provide further details
It seems there’s no news of Zhongmei Tuk or Datang Fuxin starting operations
The coal-to-gas project in Yima, Henan Energy, does not produce natural gas from coal; at present, only Qinghua in Xinjiang, Datang Keqi, and HuiNeng in Inner Mongolia are still in operation, with a total production capacity of 3.105 billion Nm3. Next, Xintian in Ili is set to begin operations, with a production capacity of 2 billion Nm3. It is currently in the pre-commissioning phase, and according to the latest updates, commercial negotiations for sales and purchases are underway.
The ones operating buses are Datang Keqi and Qinghua; Yili Xintian is about to start operating as well. The others are either in the early stage, or their main business is not coal-based gas.
