As the title suggests, are there any acceptance criteria regarding noise when testing the device? For example, the noise from facilities such as circulating water towers and air compressor stations. What should be done if the noise level does not meet the standards?
Generally, one looks at the level of noise at the boundary during the day and at night, in decibels. There are also regulations regarding the noise inside the facility; if it exceeds a certain level, it is considered a hazard related to occupational diseases or something similar. I can’t remember all these figures anymore; it’s necessary to consult the relevant standards. If the levels exceed the allowed limits, soundproof factories can be built, or soundproof walls or enclosures can be installed along the road boundaries
All equipment has standard operating noise levels, and it is sufficient to conduct inspections based on those standards. The entire system has environmental noise standards, which are specified in the environmental impact assessment for your project; it must pass the assessment according to these standards, otherwise it will not be approved. If it fails the inspection, make corrections.
