Design and manufacturing issues of reinforced polypropylene tower equipment

I’m currently working on a project that requires the use of reinforced polypropylene to construct absorption towers. I’m looking for the relevant standards regarding the use of polypropylene in such tower constructions, such as guidelines for determining the thickness and standards for the methods of support and fixation. I’ve consulted several manufacturers, but they told me that these standards are arbitrary – the towers can be manufactured according to whatever requirements are specified； I would like to know the current situation of this industry, as well as the differences between polypropylene equipment and metal equipment in terms of design
