The first is to prevent the pressurized medium at the outlet from vaporizing; Second, the liquid level in the inlet tank is too low, resulting in no medium being pumped out.
1. The medium is too viscous. 2. The inlet pressure is too low (a pressure gauge can be installed at the pump inlet for monitoring). 3. The inlet pressure and temperature exceed the vaporization temperature of the medium at that pressure. 4. An inducer wheel can be installed at the pump inlet to improve the suction conditions
It can lower the temperature of the material, raise the liquid level in the storage tank, and increase the pressure at the feed inlet.
Shielded pumps used for pumping liquid ammonia face greater difficulties in summer; It is recommended to use high-pressure nitrogen, or an ammonia compressor ; Finally, it’s also possible to use a different type of pump :)
Reasons for pump evacuation: 1. The inlet pipeline was not properly purged, resulting in clogging of the filter; the clogged filter was not cleaned in a timely manner; 2. The gas inside the pump was not completely removed before starting the pump ; 3. Low inlet pressure causes the ammonia liquid to vaporize inside the pump ; 4. Low inlet liquid level causes the pump to go into vacuum ; 5. The calculated cooling water volume for the cooling water jacket is too low, or the amount of cooling water available on-site is insufficient.
