The process sheet states that the sulfur content in aviation fuel should not exceed 2000 ppm, but for products like diesel, it is either 50 ppm or 10 ppm. I would like to know why there is such a large difference in the total sulfur content between these two types of products
The aviation fuel you mentioned has been refined through hydrogenation, and its sulfur content is very low after such refinement. The process card only describes the process materials, not the final product. You can find out by checking the requirements for sulfur content in the specifications for aviation kerosene (jet fuel).
