Hello, moderators and seniors: I have been working on automatic control design in a design institute for just over two years, less than three. I would like to know what procedures are required to become an automatic control engineer For example, when to take courses in subjects such as English and computer science, where to register for them, etc. The more detailed, the better. Professional title computer skills, professional title English, and two papers. This is usually organized for evaluation by your own organization.
Ask the HR department at your company; if it’s a private company, then there is none. There is no professional title evaluation for the Instrumentation and Automatic Control field.
I work at a small design firm in Shanghai; there is a system for evaluating professional titles there, but I’m not unaware of the process involved. . . . . . .

The subjects for the intermediate exam are Professional English, Computer Skills, Power Fundamentals and Practice, or Electrical Fundamentals and Practice. I’m not sure if there are differences depending on the location. The English exam is held once a year, while the computer exam is held at least twice a year; I think it’s five times in total. You can log in to the China Examination Network. Registration for the professional English exam before New Year’s Day started; I’m not sure if it’s over by now.

For state-owned enterprises or other types of companies that follow domestic personnel systems, there are corresponding regulations in place. Generally, one year after graduating from undergraduate studies, one is eligible to apply for the title of assistant engineer; three years after obtaining that title, they are eligible to apply for the title of engineer. Graduates can become assistant engineers after half a year, and then qualify as engineers after three years. The required qualifications generally include scores in the English test for professional titles and the computer skills test for professional titles; whether publication of papers is required depends on the regulations set by the company itself. If one’s company does not have the authority to handle personnel matters or does not follow the **relevant regulations – commonly referred to as being outside the official system – it is still possible to go to the local personnel or labor departments or talent markets to undergo evaluation, on the same conditions as above. If it is an industry certification such as Certified Automation Engineer, it is necessary to refer to the corresponding application requirements.
