Is it still necessary for consulting engineers to take this exam?

The new examination plan includes a qualification for consulting engineers; I passed two of the exams two years ago, but I’m not eligible to get registered. Is it still necessary to take these exams? The forums say that the introductory course will no longer be part of the exam, but I haven’t seen any official documents confirming this yet. . .

I just checked the overview – it turns out that topic won’t be tested anymore. Are the subjects that were passed in the past still valid? If I only failed the introduction course last time, can I get the certificate directly?
I just checked the notification; what was approved before remains valid.
The registration fee is very high: 130 for the first 3 courses, 150 for the last course, and adding the exam administration fees, the total cost for all 4 courses is estimated to be 600 yuan.
In previous years, it was around 200.
