Regarding the tower top distillation range issue

There is a tower; the components collected at the top of the tower have a higher dry point than normal, and some of those components from the top are also present in the components at the bottom of the tower. At that time, it was thought to be a problem with the trays – there were too many openings in them, which caused leakage and affected the separation efficiency. So some of those openings were blocked, but that didn’t yield much improvement. Does anyone know what’s going on? I’d appreciate some advice. By the way, the trays I’m using here are of the cross-floating type.
The process parameters should be fine; I suspect the problem lies with the trays, resulting in low separation efficiency.
