Could you explain the working principle of the deethanizer and the liquefied gas tower? I really don’t understand it. It’s impossible to understand HYSYS simulations otherwise; does anyone have detailed materials on this? Could you share it?~
It’s simple: in a conventional distillation tower, deethanization involves removing ethane from the feed material. As for the separation criteria – such as the ethane content at the bottom of the tower or the content of heavy components at the top – these depend on specific requirements. The size of the distillation equipment is determined based on these separation criteria and operating conditions. The same principle applies to liquefied gas towers: liquefied gas is obtained at the top of the tower, while the bottom of the tower usually contains gasoline, as long as its vapor pressure meets the required standards
