Should an oxygen content analysis or a combustible gas analysis be performed on the gasifier before connecting the burners without drawing gas?
If it’s to be done, then measure the oxygen content, and do it during pressure release.
The furnace operates under oxygen-deficient conditions by design. After parking, the oxygen content should not exceed the limit, but the H2 and CO levels should be around 80%. Won’t there be a flash explosion when the furnace is started?
When oxygen is introduced into the furnace, the coal slurry has already entered it beforehand; the oxygen is sprayed out through the burners immediately and reacts with the coal slurry. To achieve complete production of CO, the mass ratio should be 2, but at a ratio of 1.66 alone, the oxygen-to-coal ratio is already high enough to cause the system to shut down – in other words, there is not enough oxygen available. Put it another way, when the system is operating normally, the furnace is also filled with syngas, that is, CO+H2 as you mentioned; oxygen continuously enters the furnace as well, and there are no explosions.
Before combined feeding, no analysis is required, as the furnace temperature is high and there is no oxygen – it’s all syngas. Deflagration may occur during simultaneous charging
Are you all using water-coal slurry hot fireplaces? Has anyone ever carried out simultaneous startup under pressure after shutting down the furnace? Which manufacturer, please let me know? If there is a pilot light in powder gasification, it can be started simultaneously; otherwise, ignition must be restarted.
There’s no need for analysis, as once you stop the machine, the furnace is isolated from the outside world; no oxygen can get in, so you can simply add the material directly!
In the case of a water-coal slurry pressurized gasification furnace (GE or multi-feedstock slurry), O and CO+H are also measured during the simultaneous introduction of nitrogen for displacement! Ensure safety! I’m not familiar with other furnaces
