Does anyone familiar with compressor oil station small turbines know something about their structure and the principle of speed control? Specifically, how does the manual speed control mechanism work, and how does the overspeed protection function? Please advise; thanks in advance

It seems that the small turbine in the oil system of the AC press I was previously exposed to didn’t have a speed regulator; instead, the speed was controlled by opening the steam inlet valve: lol. Later, we removed it and replaced it with a motor

Ordinary small turbine steam engines can handle this; for special models, there are PG-PL types of governors as well as TG types, and most of these governors are from Woodward in the United States
