I am currently working on a technical solution for zero-discharge water treatment. I would like to ask those of you who have experience with MVR evaporation units: could you provide information on the investment cost associated with MVR systems? It would be helpful to know the cost per 1 m3/h of treated water, expressed in ten thousand units. Thank you all.
Our company has been specializing in the production of MVR evaporators for over 20 years. Different models are available depending on the volume of wastewater to be treated – the smallest model is a compact evaporator with a capacity of 25 L/h, while the largest ones can handle up to 4000 L/h. The efficiency of our vacuum evaporation equipment can reach as high as 98%, leaving only 2% residual concentrate after treatment. The distilled water produced by evaporation is usually recycled back into the production process without any additional filtration.
An evaporation rate of one ton per hour would be around 1.2 to 1.3 million, I guess. Of course, using MVR for evaporating one ton seems a bit extravagant

I don’t think it will be necessary; I’ve never worked on an MVR system with a evaporation capacity of 1 ton before, and MVR evaporation isn’t priced in that way.

The general market price is 80–100 W/T for 316L material, and 100–120 W/T for titanium material; however, there can be significant differences depending on the specific tonnage and type of material. Some companies also offer models with a power output of 50–60W; this depends on the price of the evaporator, the electronic control system, the compressor, the circulation pump, and so on. Which water do you mean by the water that evaporates? What about the concentrated liquid after concentration? Is it still condensate water? If it is a concentrated liquid, its COD level is extremely high; in such cases, it is usually sent to a solid waste processing facility for treatment (since the amount is small, any crystalline substances will turn into solids). If the condensate water is properly treated so that it contains no contaminants, then it can be discharged in compliance with regulations.
