Are profiles made of 20 Number steel easy to find? Small cross-section, such as TN125, I-beam 10, channel steel 12
It’s not easy to buy. Why is it priced at 20? Is it necessary to calculate the strength? A small quantity can be welded using steel plates

It seems that Q345 steel is not easy to obtain, so we are considering whether grade 20 steel is available easily. 2. If steel plates are welded together to form shaped steel, this process needs to be carried out in a factory; on-site processing cannot ensure quality, and the costs associated with factory processing are high, which is why most owners prefer not to have it done in a factory.
Meeting the computational design requirements is the top priority; purchases are made from steel markets, and manufacturing is employed when necessary
It’s difficult to find 20# steel in the form of profiles; manufacturers have to process them on demand. For pipes, 20# steel is commonly used. There are steel plates available for Q345 containers, but profiles still need to be processed on demand. Generally, the profiles are made of Q235A or Q235B steel
I agree with the person above; 20# profile steel is hard to find, and manufacturers have to process it on demand.
The allowable stress of Q235 material at 400 degrees Celsius is generally only around 73 MPa, which is much lower than that of Q345
I don’t know where this type of steel is used. Can structural steel withstand temperatures up to 400°C?
Bro, section steel isn’t only used in steel structures; many high-temperature equipment and flue ducts also require reinforcement with section steel
:'(:' It’s reinforced with steel sections; the temperature of the outer wall definitely doesn’t reach 400°C. The internal structure of the equipment is reinforced, and the materials used for the equipment certainly include Q345
This isn’t the focus of the discussion. If you want to discuss it, shall I get you the relevant regulations?
