What should be done with the rock wool insulation from the equipment that has been discarded?

How is the insulation rock wool from equipment that has been phased out in your respective workplaces disposed of? Landfilling, incineration, or professional recycling companies?
I haven’t come into contact with it, but that damned thing sticks to your skin and causes intense itching.
It’s probably impossible to deal with it; we always talk about temporary storage, but in the end it’s still taken away as trash.

We used to do the same thing before. Now that environmental protection laws are stricter, littering is not allowed anymore, and we don’t know how to dispose of it!
It’s illegal to litter these days, right? Environmental laws are so strict!
Rock wool will be phased out as a insulation material in households. In the future, when submitting plans or designs, agree with the procurement team that rock wool material will not be used.
Some of them are already broken and can’t be used anymore!
Asbestos is now considered hazardous waste! It must be disposed of by a qualified entity; private disposal is not allowed. Please refer to the List of Hazardous Wastes; items in small quantities are generally discarded
Little by little, a lot gets replaced during each equipment maintenance! It’s just piled up there; I don’t dare throw it away, and I don’t know what to do with it!
