According to the survey data, during the Spring Festival in 2010, the amount of waste cleared by the city’s sanitation workers was three times higher than usual; on average, more than 60 trucks’ worth of firework debris was removed per day, totaling around 30 tons. On New Year’s Day alone, nearly 90 trucks’ worth of firework debris was removed.
