Industrial ammonium carbonate corrosion problem

After the company’s technical upgrades, a single system was used to produce industrially customized ammonium carbonate. However, concentrated ammonia is highly corrosive; the pumps used for transporting it could only last 10 days before their impellers thinned out, resulting in poor liquid delivery and thus iron content levels in the product that did not meet the standards. I’m not sure what causes this corrosion – has anyone else encountered this issue?
The pump is a cast-iron pump, but it is functioning properly in the agricultural ammonium bicarbonate system; the stainless-steel pump is still under customization.
