I have a few questions regarding the unloading of LNG pumps: 1. Are quick connectors or manual flanges used to connect the unloading arm to the tank truck? 2 How is the air between the primary valve of the unloading arm and the primary valve of the tank truck replaced with nitrogen? (No gas vent on the tank truck? ) Is the gas phase stream of the 3-tank train connected to the BOG system, or to the gas space of the receiving tank? 4 How long does pre-cooling take before formal unloading, and how long does the unloading itself take? This is my first time dealing with LNG; please give me some guidance~~
1. Connect the unloading arm to the quick connector of the tank truck; 2. There is a small vent valve between the unloading arm and the trough chamber ; 3. Connection between the gas phase of the tank truck and the tank interior ; 4. I’m using a low-flow sliding vane pump for unloading, and it will take about three to four hours.
We use small vertical compressors here; it takes about 2 to 2.5 hours to unload a liquefied gas truck weighing around 20 tons
How fast can a 20-ton tank truck be unloaded?
If unloading is done by pressure difference, the gas space of the tank truck and the storage tank cannot be connected.
Hello! Recently, when working on a station, I thought about using a compressor to replace the unloading booster in order to pressurize the tank trucks. May I ask where the inlet of your compressor is connected?
