Irregular cracking occurred 2 meters above the bottom of the drying tower while it was shut down; the temperature was around minus 30 degrees during shutdown, and it is now at minus 20 degrees

This is likely due to a high acid concentration that leads to crystallization. Additionally, during shutdown, the fan stops operating, but the circulating water system and the dry absorption system continue to function. Once the fan stops, the temperature of the circulating water drops sharply, and as a result, the temperature of the circulating acid also drops. When the fan is restarted, the cold air drawn in causes the acid circulating inside the drying tower to crystallize. Once the electric heating system of the converter is turned on to raise the temperature, both the temperature of the circulating acid and that of the circulating water increase. At this point, the outside of the tower expands due to heat, while the inside of the tower expands as well; these opposing forces cause cracks to form in the tower structure.
If repair is needed, steel plates can be attached and welded on the outside, after which a professional sealing company can be called to apply sealant to fix the leak. There’s no need to worry too much; it’s just a minor issue. In the future, try not to stop the fans when the weather is extremely cold and keep them running continuously, so that the circulating water and acid remain warm and this problem won’t arise. If the fans are stopped for an extended period in such conditions, it’s possible that all three towers could crack. Spend a bit more on electricity to save on maintenance costs, right? If injection molding is used, the price is very high.
