The flue has lateral reinforcement ribs; the temperature is below 200 degrees, located behind the induced draft fan. Are there any formulas or standards for calculating the span of flue pipe supports and hangers?
A thickness of 5mm is roughly sufficient; the required pressure needs to be calculated. Reinforcing bars can increase the span

In terms of strength, there is definitely no problem; of course, other factors such as local stress and deformation at the supports also need to be taken into account. The span of the supports and hangers must meet various requirements regarding strength, stiffness, stability, and vibration frequency
There are generally no major issues with the flue itself; the main thing is to calculate the local stresses at the supports. It depends on the load on those supports and on what type of support structure is used
For a flue with a diameter of 2 meters, the key consideration is its circumferential stiffness; a longitudinal span of 10 meters poses no problem. According to the pressure pipeline design manual, the allowable span is around 18 meters
