For a solution made of petroleum resin and solvent oil, are there any effective methods to determine the resin content in the solution? Distillation, drying? Could everyone please help tell me what instruments are used? Thank you.
There are many types of petroleum resins, and it is impossible to determine from just the name whether reliable data can be obtained through simple separation methods. It would be best to be able to determine the type of resin and its approximate composition. If separation is not possible, one can try to conduct analytical testing using spectroscopic methods.
For C9 petroleum resin, it should be similar to the testing of solid content.
