Currently, organic amines are used for desulfurization. From what I know, it’s organic amines. There’s one issue: organic amines evaporate quite easily, so could this lead to secondary pollution? We are using organic amines in other products; desulfurization using organic amines is feasible, with it being particularly important to note that the lower the pH, the more effective the desulfurization. What worries me the most is secondary pollution; the smell of organic amines is extremely unpleasant.
As far as I know, although the organic amine process is a relatively traditional one, it has a high energy consumption; the system often gets clogged, and there are also issues related to corrosion. I would ask experts to analyze this further
There are no issues with the systems designed by West China in Chengdu; over a dozen such systems are currently in use. No organic substances will evaporate, and energy consumption has been significantly reduced.

Mature? Why is corrosion and leakage so severe here, resulting in high costs?
The organic amine desulfurization technology is basically mature. Severe leaks can only be resolved by upgrading the material of the equipment ； The cost is mainly the cost of low-pressure steam. Additionally, organic amines are non-volatile; by taking proper measures to capture foam, ammonia loss is also minimal.
