University teachers applying for the registered chemical engineer professional examination

I am a faculty member at an undergraduate institution; my graduation major was Chemical Engineering and Technology, and the subject I teach now is Chemical Engineering and Process Technology. I have been working for 5 years, and I have passed the basic examination for registered chemical engineers. I would like to ask my colleagues: if I apply for the professional examination, will my application be approved? Is a work certificate from a design institute related to the chemical industry the only thing required to apply for the professional exam? The professionalism is lacking, because you’re not using a qualified unit for surveys and design; if you hire any random unit to handle the registration process, it will have a negative impact on you! Personally, I suggest you get your professional title as soon as possible; if you become a professor, you can obtain the certificate right away! But by this point, you probably don’t even care about this certificate anymore! :lol
