When the process engineering department provides pump specifications to the pump engineering department, why is it not necessary to specify the design temperature?

For example, in my case, the operating temperature for a tank is 40ºC, while the designed temperature is 150ºC. There is a pump used to draw the contents out of the tank. In the pump’s data sheet, it is stated that its normal operating temperature is 40ºC, but how can we ensure that this pump can withstand a designed temperature of 150ºC? O(∩_∩)O Thank you
I’m curious too. Although, when calculating pumps in the process engineering field, the design temperature is taken into account to avoid cavitation. However, the pump engineering team is unaware of the design temperature of the fluid, which should have an impact on material selection.
