Hello, I would like to ask for your advice. We are engaged in the deep processing of asphalt; our products have a viscosity of around 4000 at a temperature of 200 degrees. When ordinary asphalt pumps or screw pumps are used, their bearings and seals wear out within a month, and the screws also suffer significant wear. May I ask which type of asphalt pump would be suitable for us, as well as which manufacturer’s pumps would be recommended? Thank you so much!

Most deep-viscosity product pumps in use today are positive displacement pumps; imported brands such as Wilo and Bürkert work well for asphalt products. I once used a pump of the FAE60 type, an imported pump designed for modified asphalt, and it performed well – I’m not sure though which manufacturer it was from
