Calcium chloride is added to treat waste acid water – how much exactly?
We control it based on PH and the measured ion concentration in the water.
Why add calcium chloride? Is a calcium salt precipitate formed?
Add calcium chloride? Why? Except sulfate? The results aren’t very satisfactory, are they?
Haven’t heard of adding calcium chloride, have you? I’ve heard of quicklime or lime milk (whose main component is calcium hydroxide).

The conditions aren’t met; is it defluoride? – It is generally added at 2 to 5 times the theoretical concentration. Hope this helps you
You can just use a test strip to measure the pH.
