This post was last edited by Yimi on 2016-4-5 at 18:12. For 321H, the carbon content is ≥0.04; refer to GB/T20801.2 or ASME A-312. The maximum carbon content in 321 is 0.08, while in 321H it ranges from 0.04 to 0.10. Additionally, the titanium content varies slightly as the carbon content increases
Those with H are those without H; there is a minimum requirement for carbon content. . .
The chemical compositions of stainless steel 321 and 321H are identical. 321H is the material that can prevent hydrogen embrittlement through special heat treatment of 321.
