Everyone, come and take a look! Material selection for exhaust fans used in salt acid synthesis (cost-effective): is fiberglass a good choice, or are PP or OVC materials better? I’m waiting for the answers from all the experts; this question is really tough to decide on!
FRP is useful: it has high strength, is corrosion-resistant, low in cost, and easy to manufacture. PP has low strength and is difficult to manufacture; OVC? It should be PVC, right? It cracks easily; you’ll have to fix it later
Of course, fiberglass is better; fans rotate and therefore experience high wear and tear.
Salt acid synthesis, with fans for the exhaust gas – I’ve never seen that. Generally, a water flow pump is used.
