The current conversion inlet temperature of my unit is around 470. How can it be improved? Raw material temperature before preheating: 268, steam temperature: 274

Increase the outlet temperature and reduce the water-to-carbon ratio; if these measures don’t work, add a side burner. Actually, 470℃ at the inlet is a bit low, but it’s still acceptable. What is the methane content in the exported converted gas?
What is the temperature of the desulfurized gas? What is the water-to-carbon ratio? Is there temperature reduction? Is the amount of cooling water too large? For medium-pressure superheated steam, we control it at 420-450℃

Desulfurization gas outlet 280. The water-to-carbon ratio is currently 3.6. We are not reducing the temperature at the moment. Overheat control is around 410. Too high overheating is not good for the furnace tubes in the convection section
Here, we can control the temperature of the desulfurized gas at 330°C, and the temperature at the hydrogenation outlet at 340°C; the temperature there is a bit low
Our raw material is natural gas, with a relatively low S content. It hardly reacts at all, and cannot generate that much heat. What are your raw materials?
You produce hydrogen from natural gas, so the temperature rise in your desulfurization section won’t be too high; adjustments can only be made in the converter. The temperature of your medium-pressure steam is a bit low – here, our medium-pressure steam is usually around 440 degrees. How is steam distribution handled for medium-pressure steam in your area? Here, the steam from the drum is heated in the convection section of the converter. You can also increase the inlet temperature before conversion by raising the temperature at the exit of the converter. To be honest, a conversion rate of around 3% for methane is already quite low; there’s no need to lower it any further, as that would be a waste of resources.
Increase the outlet temperature of the converter; however, this temperature is already acceptable.
