Adding nicotinic acid to the wastewater should reduce its COD and ammonia nitrogen levels; why then, does increasing the amount of nicotinic acid fed in not lead to a decrease in ammonia nitrogen?
Ammonium chloride salts are highly soluble, so it’s impossible to reduce their concentration
