Recently, during the zero-gap modification of several cells in one electrolyzer, the hydrogen content in the chlorine was high. Which company did Haiyou turn to for handling this issue? Several unit cells that were modified for us by Company B in 2013 showed high hydrogen content in the chlorine produced, with the highest level reaching 1.02% after 2 years of operation. It is planned to repair and replace those unit cells with high hydrogen content in the coming years, and after replacement, to have them processed again by an electrolyzer repair manufacturer with high technical capabilities. Have you encountered similar situations? How was it solved? :handshake
I would like to know how it is determined that the hydrogen content in the chlorine of several cells in an electrolyzer is high after modification.
The Kyocera model with a side single slot will also work; all that’s needed is to replace the hose at the outlet for the brackish water in that single slot and connect a tee fitting, as chlorine is present above the brackish water.
In an operating electrolyzer, all the hoses are connected to the main pipeline, and it’s impossible to imagine any way of taking samples from the individual cells. Could you take a picture to take a look? Thank you!
Each cell of the chlorine engineering electrolyzer is equipped with a chlorine sampling valve at the anode outlet, which allows for the measurement of the chlorine purity and hydrogen content in that cell
