Spraying is carried out on the top of the coke oven; the leaking flames are not intense, and they occur at a depth of two to three bricks below the observation holes. However, spraying from both the dust removal holes and the observation holes in the carbonization chamber had no effect. How do I do it? Thank you.

Production is currently at low capacity, with 20 furnaces operating per day, and the collector pipe pressure is 100–150 Pa. I’m not very familiar with how to perform dry powder sealing; could you explain it?
There’s no perfect solution; grouting is a good option. Take your time – work on a few areas per day, and fix wherever there are leaks
Dry powder sealing is used for leaks through small cracks in the furnace wall, where no obvious leakage point can be identified. Our plant also experiences similar conditions with its coke ovens at low load levels. We invited several thermal repair companies to take a look, and they all suggested trying dry powder sealing; spraying or grouting might not be very effective, but in the end that approach wasn’t successful. Currently, our plant’s coke ovens are under high load, and graphite seals are used, which reduces such leaks.
