Dear fellow sailors, I studied Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, and Automation during my undergraduate years and graduated in 2006. I worked on equipment at a chemical plant for 9 years, and in 2016 I was transferred to work with high-pressure equipment at a thermal power plant. I have no experience working in design firms. Now I’m wondering what professional exams I am eligible to take – such as those related to water supply and drainage, power systems, heating and ventilation, and any others? ) Also, what is the registration process? Does that mean I still need to go to the design institute for a stamp? Thank you! ! !

It depends on the requirements set by the personnel examination authority in your area. In big cities like Beijing and Shanghai, the requirements are likely to be strict, but in third-tier cities the requirements aren’t as strict, so there’s a chance to get by by cheating
