We have a mass flow meter from Shanghai Yino; a power supply module is installed on-site to provide 24V power for the instrument to function properly. With the same power supply, the instrument connected directly from the DCS does not work. Please help solve this issue
The mass flow meter has separate power and signal wires; it is a four-wire instrument, so please confirm whether that is the case. If the cable is four-wired, verify the resistance of the power return circuit again; the voltage is insufficient.
It is likely that the cable is too long, resulting in a large voltage drop and thus the load voltage failing to meet the minimum requirement specified by the instrument
