Please advise on the acclimatization and cultivation of activated sludge

The company’s newly installed biochemical system is about to undergo debugging. I would like to ask everyone the following: 1. What proportion of sludge should be added at the beginning? Our biochemical system is designed to handle a flow rate of 6500 m3/day, with a total effective volume of the biochemical tank being 5900 m3. Is it appropriate to add dry sludge at a rate of 1% of the tank’s volume? Should dry sludge be mainly added to the aerobic tank, or should it be evenly distributed across all tanks? 2. During cultivation, is it better to use continuous water supply or intermittent water supply? Why? At present, we already have a biochemical system with a treatment capacity of 5,000 m3. I plan to use the effluent from this biochemical system as the feedwater at the beginning of the commissioning process; the feedwater can be supplied continuously, and the excess sludge generated on a daily basis will be sent to the biochemical system being commissioned.
