Take a look at this post: Exchange of experiences regarding the selection, design, installation, operation, maintenance, and management of demisters and washing systems for flue gas desulfurization in power plants – http://bbs.hcbbs.com/thread-1587700-1-1.html. The link included there leads to content from the forum’s promotion section; does this count as an advertising post?
The manufacturer’s name should not be mentioned; otherwise it counts as advertising!
I’ve also encountered situations where ads were posted in the promotion area, and then links from that promotion area were shared in the technical discussion area

This post was last edited by luoli519 on 2016-6-17 15:22; it should not be considered advertising. In response to the knowledge gaps existing in the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of desulfurization and demisting devices in China, Haiyou has provided domestic and international remedial measures to help local technical designers handle similar projects effectively. Support it with actual information as well. It provides real help to fellow travelers, and that is undeniable. If the supporting information is considered to have advertising implications, we need not look at it. But without further information to support it, it rather gives the impression of deficiency or confusion, doesn’t it? This approach might also be a way of avoiding the problem of including excessive supporting information in the main post. I wonder if it counts as an innovative way of expression? Or please suggest a more balanced way of expressing it. Thank you, OP, for understanding! I’ll be more careful from now on!
