The treated deep well water contains suspended impurities, has a light yellow appearance, and high levels of trivalent iron ions and divalent manganese ions. The flow rate is 120 m3/h; should a metal tube float flow meter or a glass tube float flow meter be used?
It is best not to use this float-type flow meter; an electromagnetic flow meter is the preferred choice. These iron-manganese impurities easily adhere to the float, causing measurement errors or even jamming of the float.
