Henan Xinlianxin plans to build a fertilizer plant in Jiujiang, Jiangxi. On May 26, China Xinlianxin Fertilizer Co., Ltd. announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Henan Xinlianxin Fertilizer Co., Ltd. (Henan Xinlianxin), signed an investment intent letter on May 25 with the local government of Pengze County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. 　　Henan Xinlianxin plans to invest in the construction of a clean production and comprehensive utilization project in Jishan Industrial Park, Pengze County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, to produce synthetic ammonia, high-efficiency urea, high-efficiency compound fertilizers, industrial gases, methanol, and various downstream fine chemical products. According to the letter of intent agreement, the comprehensive clean production project is planned to cover a total area of 1,700 mu, with construction taking place in two phases. Phase 1 involves the construction of fertilizer and urea production facilities with annual capacities of 600,000 tons and 800,000 tons respectively; the fertilizer production facility will be built first, with a construction period estimated at 1.5 years. The implementation of the urea project will be determined based on the operation status of the compound fertilizer project and market conditions at that time. Phase 2 involves the construction of urea and methanol plants with annual production capacities of 800,000 tons and 400,000 tons respectively, with an estimated construction period of 3 years.
