Do you think assessments are useful for employees?

Assessments are merely a means, not an end, but for some employees they only serve to make things worse. Share your opinions!

Assessments are for those who are not self-aware. If there is no monitoring, some people might act recklessly. There was once a case where a young worker slept through the night, causing the temperature of the furnace to drop; as a result, the raw material tank was on the verge of overflowing, and the thermal balance of the reaction was completely disrupted. No one noticed anything throughout the night, but when the records were checked, the values at 8 o’clock were practically identical; however, when looking at the trend, it was like riding a rollercoaster. It would be a shame not to assess such people; it’s unfair to the system. . . . . .
Assessments are not a panacea, but they are absolutely essential. The world is full of wonders; for some people, assessments are necessary

On the other hand, when it comes to running a red light, whether there’s a penalty or not, I won’t even run a yellow light unless forced by larger vehicles around me.
